The world of electronic media is advancing towards more space/time compression. The practice of information research has been revolutionized by new technology to expedite the process of data finding and collecting. This acceleration is no longer a virtual condition alone, but also a prominent spatial challenge. Pinball Médiatheque is a program and a building serving purposefully for this condition as a hub for people to gather, transmit and exchange. Flexibility and thinness are the design expressions considered for this project. This information hub provides multiple entries at its exterior periphery that lead to its interior. Inside, there are vertical panels/research stations set on pivoted axes that become mobile along the floor and ceiling track, designed to formulate multiple seating configurations anticipating the demands in team search and group work.
